Dr. John Rios
Dr. John Rios is a National Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic in both Canada and the U.S.A. Dr. Rios received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Lowell University in Illinois majoring in anatomy and physiology.
He received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, Iowa where he was named to the President’s list for outstanding academic achievement and for his research work in headaches.
Dr. Rios was also given the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities Award for outstanding merit and accomplishment.
After graduation from Palmer, Dr. Rios practiced successfully in Illinois before returning to Ontario. In addition, Dr. Rios has completed post-graduate studies in NUCCA, applied nutrition, sports injuries, pediatrics and natural hormone balancing.
Dr. Rios has been an ambassador for the Chiropractic profession as a Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Scott Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa. Dr. Rios is a radio personality, and has a radio talk show on Voces Latinas CHHA AM radio in Toronto discussing issues on health and Chiropractic.
As a bilingual Doctor proficient in Spanish and English, Dr. Rios is dedicated to reaching out to help the Hispanic community in the Greater Toronto Area by offering health advice to newly arrived refugees and immigrants.
A devoted husband and father of three beautiful daughters, Dr. Rios finds pleasure in spending time with his family and playing tennis, racquet ball, squash and baseball.
